See? Sul gets super grouchy if it is below 65 outside.
Anyhoo... let's play catch-up!
School has been going well and I have been excelling in my two favorite activities - recess and snack.
I have also had multiple opportunities over the past few months to dress-up with my school buddies as we learn about different holidays, customs, etc...
First up - crrrraaaaazzzyyyyy hat day!
Oh yes - this is the hat I designed. I overheard Mom saying that all I needed to complete my (unintentional) Mardi Gras look were some bead necklaces and no shirt!
Next up was cowboy day. Stick'em up.
This is the gun that Sully suggested I take for cowboy day.
Seriously, Sul? A storm-trooper blaster? Clearly a complete overkill.
Lastly, and by far the most dreaded of days, was clown day.
Clowns. Are. Scary.
Ugh. But who wants to be the kid who doesn't participate?! SOOOO... after a bit of coaxing from Mom to get me all geared up for the day, I put my big-boy pants on, stared that clown costume and makeup in the eye - and I. OWNED. IT.
That being said, I did fret a bit about whether I was going to scare myself throughout the day.
Sidenote - guess who isn't scared of clowns!? Shocking.
Depending on the day, Sul would also get in the spirit of dressing up. Here he is trying to morph into a human valentine in order to seduce the ladies. Yes, it is un-nerving to us as well.
And here he is with food in his teeth after eating his Valentine's Day pancakes! What a catch, eh?
He kills me.
So in other news, we recently took a trip to an aviation museum!! Needless to say, it was incredible. In fact, we had not yet left the parking lot before I was asking to go back.
Here's a little snapshot of what's to come, Mom!
Aaaannddd I think we can all agree that putting Sully in any kind of leadership role in an aircraft seems needlessly reckless.
Yeah... here he is trying to con me out of my seat in an F-15. As you can tell by my face, that switch is unlikely to happen. Sorry, Sucka!
ILOVEPLANES!
Although in all honesty, it should be noted that Dad was just about as excited as we were. We learned a ton, got to push lots of buttons and sit in multiple pilot seats. What could be better?
Oh wait. I know something that might be better. Or at least equally as good...
Bike rides in warm weather!
I always make sure I am outfitted properly before heading out on my "firepower motorcycle bike with bombs and missiles."
See? You never know when you might need extra gear, like say, eye protection.
Sully occasionally rides his own set of wheels when we get out.
Unless that classy kid is too busy digging for gold.
Here I am learning to ride without training wheels. This is a work in progress, but I hear that I am close to reaching total success.
I must admit that it is nice to have a personal cheerleader when I am practicing. As much as I give him a hard time, there is no better brother for me than that tiny, blond monster. I really adore him and rarely want to do something that doesn't include his little self.
So that is all for now! We wish everyone the best and will (once again) commit to trying to update this blog on a more frequent basis.
