Gettin' durrrty in the south

Georgia is really starting to pull through for me. I should clarify that I am referring to the state, not the dog. Georgia the dog is a piece of God's flawless handiwork and it has never been up for debate about whether I like her.

Anyhoo... the weather has been a little stifling at times, but all in all, not too shabby, Peach State. Not too shabby.

I have discovered a little demon bug called the "fire ant." And by discovered, I mean I was attacked by them one afternoon when I was trying to stalk a bunny. Not to worry. Now when I see one or thousands, I immediately begin squishing them.

Here, I am showing Daddy my plan of attack.

I've also begun climbing trees.

What's that? You think my tree is lame and about the same height as me?

Well, you're lame.

I am still really into mowing. Concrete, pavement, dirt... whatever. Just as long as it is not grass.

Oooh! What's that over there??

TUNNELS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Again, like the tree... don't judge me. It is super fun to run up and down, back and forth through these concrete tunnels (also known as drains). If left to my own devices, I could perhaps do it for an entire day. Unfortunately, my vote is rarely accepted on issues such as these. (Yeah, Mom. I'm talking to you.)

To counter-balance the demon ants, I have found an animal down here that is Ah. May. Zing.

The gay-or (gator).

Here I am, stealthily looking for one.

And here, I am trying to talk Daddy into letting me wrestle one. It was just a baby - totally the right size to start with. Right??

Anybody??

After that failed attempt to channel Steve Irwin, Mom and I found a HUGE spider that lives above the gator swamp. This picture does not do it justice - just know that it was like the size of my hand.

Ahh... there you go.

Shoot. My hand is not in the picture for scale.

After the gator hunting, my Granny and I kicked it old school and went for a stroll.

And thus wraps up the latest haps in the world of Diggy. Jealous, much?

Peace out for now.

Knox, Georgia the state does look pretty cool, but I think I still prefer these WV mountains to swamps. I'm just sayin'... However, I and my clan definitely agree with you about the mowing. No grass. It's just too hard to push that thing in the grass. Maybe they should market a self propelled kids push mower. That's how we can make our millions. Until then, we'll just stick to keeping the front porch trimmed.
