I realize it's been a while, but I have been busy getting ready. Ready for what? Well, that would be the world's largest rodeo hosted here in Cheyenne! It's significant for many reasons, but most notably - it's the one week a year the population here gets above 17. Big stuff.
I've been preparing in a multitude of ways...
Riding my bronc (also known as "euro zebra" due to the crazy euro-disco music it plays.) I love it - even when I get bucked off which is often.
Going for wagon rides. Look funny to you? Well, that's how I roll.
And most importantly, welcoming over 500 head of cattle to our lovely town.
...crickets...chirp...chirp...
And five minutes later - a veritable stampede. And yes, that is on one of the main roads in town.
C'monc'monc'mon... one of you break free! Break FREE!!!
Hmmm...disappointing. Apparently there isn't an independent thinker in the bunch.
And in other news... I'm finally growing my second tooth. It'll be the top match to the one on the bottom. The bottom one will still be my favorite though.
