Impressed with how I can dismantle a carseat while still in it? You should be... it took me a while to figure it out.
After our trip to WV to visit Peedles and Poppy, Mom and I actually did stay put in Alabama for a while with Dad.
Mom kept mentioning that it would have been a little nicer for her if the apartment had been "childproofed" (no such thing as far as I'm concerned), but we managed nontheless.
There. That should do it!
After enjoying the southern life for a while, Mom and I headed to Florida to visit all of our family down there.
Some highlights...
Aunt Mel took me to the beach where I excelled at eating sand (mmmm!!), staring for uncomfortably long periods of time at strangers, and getting loads of sand down my diaper. So awesome.
Oooh - this salty rock is delicious!
I also got to meet my great-grandma Joycie. She brought me Fluffy Puppy with whom I quickly became obsessed. I now sleep with him every night.
I also had a fantastic time with my great-aunt Sherry and great-uncle Pat. They had a magical little cart that I could drive around their house.
AND they had this crazy contraption that would rock back and forth. I could have lounged in that thing for hours. My parents could have saved themselves some stress and crying if they had ditched the baby swing when I was born and just bought one of these funky things.
Eventually we had to head back to Alabama to meet up with Dad for my first Easter. This was definitely one of those occassions where my parents had way more fun than I did. Aside from being about 1 degree outside the morning they decided to drag me to an egg hunt, I was feeling a little under the weather.
I mean honestly... do the kids here actually enjoy chasing eggs? So juvenile... I'll just sit here with my pile and judge them all.
Oh right... the jupiter jump! Now this was cool... Am apparently too small to go inside, so Dad put me on the outside and let me bounce for a little while. It was pretty rockin'.
Time flew after Easter and we eventually made it back to Wyoming. Things quickly went back to normal for our family.
I spend the majority of my day chasing Georgie around. Our love affair is as strong (and a little one-sided) as ever!
Now that we'll be here for a while, you should hear from us more often! We miss and love you all!
