Knoxtopia

Hello all!

So, life is good. Sure, Dad is getting ready to head out for a while to single-handedly fight terrorists (his words, not mine), but man, we have been cramming in some super fun activities in the meantime. I don't know if my parents are suffering from guilt or just trying to make fun memories, but I am only too happy to be the recipient of their love/guilt.

So here is a snapshot of the last ten days with Team Jackson.

Yeah... I pretty much drove it. In case it isn't clear, it is a wee-oooh-wee-oooh. Totally rad.

Then I got to co-pilot a big digger. Just to make sure my buddy was comfortable, I made sure I kept my little hand on his leg to let him know I was there to take over whenever necessary.

Here I am showing Mom my newly acquired skills. She was a nervous rider to say the least.
WOOWOOO!!! And then I got a BLUE SUCKER!!!

After that overwhelmingly exciting outing, my folks packed me up and took me to the beach.

Here I am in the car clutching my beach bucket. Did I allow it to be pried out of my hand until we arrived at the beach? No. I did not.

Upon arrival, I really dug in...

And then I took in all the Lady Seas had to offer.

First up - a little game of cat and mouse.

I was doing so well...

AHHHH!!!! NO!!!! STOPPPP!!!

That water is VERY fast!

Not to worry. Next time, I took back-up.

We then proceded to conquer the ocean together.

I will be back, you massive and slightly-scary body of water. Until then... keep it real.

Up next - a zoo!

Here I am working to befriend a peacock named Henry. Sadly, I was unsuccessful. But whatever - he turned out to be completely lame. He didn't even show us his plume.

OOOH! Here is a friend! A little turrrdle. I love turrrdles.

Keeping it moving... next up was Sea World!!

Now what would you think would be my favorite thing to see/experience at this magical place?

The shark tunnel with the moving sidewalk?

Nope.

The beluga whales and polar bears?
Uh-uh.

SHAMU??
Still a big negative.

Give up? It was the MIST MASHEEEN!!!!!!!!
HOURS. I could have spent HOURS in this thing.

I think it may have bummed Mom and Dad out a bit, but what can you do? Those things are so awesome!
