Starting to lose it...

Soooo... as you know, my summer had a little switch-up about halfway through. I was moved back east to WV and also got some new roomies. To be honest, I wasn't sure how it would go... I mean, I'm totally into my own space these days and it can get sticky when I share.

Well, worry no more - it worked out beautifully. Poppy and Peedles proved to be fantastic co-dwellers.

Per usual, I learned lots from them.

Like here... I learned how to listen to a children's story while managing to not sacrifice any of my masculinity.

And Poppy showed me how to totally act chill when hangin' in the kitchen. (I now regularly stand like this.)

Unca Tew (Uncle Stew) also came up and hung out with me. It was cool. We shot the breeze, had a jam session... You know... the usual.

Aside from the visiting, I also got to play outside a LOT. Here I am, looking proud, as I had just figured out how to open the fence and escape off the deck.

And here I am starting to lose it - using my shoes as "hands". (If you can, note the crazy face. Anytime the bottom lip gets sucked in, it's game over. Rampage begins.)

My mom has mentioned a few times that she is worried all of this moving and changing is going to make me go crazy.

I cannot imagine why she thinks that.

Now we're living in southern GA, so I can only assume that things will get even more exciting! Until then... go McCain/Palin!

My Cycle

Big news, folks. I got a cycle (tricycle, but i refuse to say "tri" for some reason). SOOOO excited.

My first day with my inanimate BFF went like this...

Tried to take it for a spin. Granted, it was a tad difficult without the wheels, but I managed.

Ahhh... but then it got easier. Can you tell I'm a natural? My form is pretty spot-on...

Oh waaaiiit... This is even more fun! I can actually control where I push it. (Between you and I, the whole pedal/steering combo was a bit unwieldy at times.)

And speaking of things I can control... Hush-up, Mommy. Just enjoy ride.

Once we had completed that warm-up, we moved onto bigger and better things to tackle. Most notably, a giant hill.

Things started out so well.

Yep! Still having fun.

And here, things started to move south. Please note the angle of my body in relation to the angle of the cycle.

It all happened so fast, I don't even remember how I ended up here.

I just knew I wanted to do it again. Immediately.

After a few more "runs", I was really getting wiped... Luckily, I had Poppy to come scoop me and my wheels up for a different kind of ride.

What can I say? I love my cycle and life is good!
