Oops - they missed a drawer!

Only 7:30 a.m. but I have been very busy this morning. I managed to break into "Georgie's drawer" and dole out ALL of her treats to her.

She was thrilled until Mom realized what was going on. Now she is very sad.

I tried, my friend. I tried.

Just your average Saturday

Just when I thought my day couldn't get any better than a meal of frozen peas, my parents surprised me - we were going to Vedauwoo for our after-dinner-walk!

I threw my jacket on and jumped in my seat.

About 20 minutes later... we were cruisin' on the trails.

Daddy (well more Georgie) led the way.

The rocks remind Mommy of a hippo's skin. They look like they are soft and wrinkly instead of jagged. (Dad is hiding in the bottom of the pic.)

While my love for nature is great and obviously I did enjoy the scenery, the little gator on the back of Mom's hat provided great entertainment. Alas, after great effort, I could not remove it.

Georgie and I took a break. She tried to push me over.

Well, guess who won that battle.

I rule.

Rain, Rain, Go Away...

The weather here in Cheyenne apparently peaked a little too soon this spring. After my enchanting day at the pool, things quickly went downhill and we have been having lots of indoor days. It's been just super. Really.

So anyway, this rainy season has forced me to become creative with how I spend my days. Below is an average snapshot...

Wake up and survey the property with Georgie. If I spot anything amiss, I order her to attend to it. (NOTE: She is under my chain of command.)

Later, I climb as high as possible on anything that offers footing so that I may perch on top of it and assess my surroundings. Helps me get a game plan for what to cruise by in the afternoon.

Then I am subjected to "dress up time". Do I look like I am even remotely enjoying myself? (Although between you and me, it was very squishy and fun to roll around in).

After all of this comes my favorite time of the day - spending time in my indoor pool. Don't hate.

Then my day usually draws to a close with me jumping around on top of Daddy and acting as un-tired as I possibly can - no matter how red my eyes may be or how many times I may rub them.

And thus concludes a day inside my house. I'm ready for sun.
