In addition to being known as the Magic City On the Plains, Cheyenne is also VERY sunny. So, before we began the trek, the appropriate gear was dispensed accordingly. Much appreciated.

During quite a bit of the trip, I decided to entertain mom and Peedles... I would make funny faces, talk, squeal and scream at the top of my lungs for undetermined amounts of time. I had a great time - they apparently were contemplating driving into oncoming traffic. My bad.

In order to combat some of my sourness, Peedles rode in back (a LOT) with Georgie and me! It was very cozy and I do not understand why she kept trying to sneak up front everytime I closed my eyes.

Eventually, I had enough of them and tried to drown out their incessant chatter by sleeping.

Now, the hotel... that was another story. Every night, I had a great time watching Georgie patrol and protect our tiny room. She is not a seasoned traveler like myself and apparently was not so comfortable with the noises surrounding us. Mom was less than sympathic since Georgie's response to EVERY single sound kept her up all night... She said that Georgie is lucky she isn't still at the hotel in Salina, KS.

Not to be forgotten, there was a casualty along the trip - an enormous tumbleweed. It actually attached itself to the car and rode with us for nearly an hour. Impressive, eh?

Anyway, despite whatever mishaps we may have had, the trip went by pretty quick and before we knew it - we were in Cheyenne! Our furniture was delivered the next day and it was really cold - they kept me bundled up pretty well since the doors were open most of the day. I was less than thrilled, but that too soon passed.

At this point, most everything is unpacked and life has started to resume as normal. Dad is home from being gone for 6 weeks and of course he is amazed at all of my new tricks.

We are already loving it out here despite missing our family and friends. It will just have to be somewhere everyone puts on their "must visit" list! You can see how beautiful it is... That is a typical evening off our back porch. Not too shabby...
