Stay in the shallow end!

Big stuff this weekend... first trip to the pool. The pictures below offer a very accurate depiction of how things went. It could only be improved on if there were sound.
All ready to go!

I've made it 2 months!

Hooray - I've made it to (well, past at this point) my 2 month birthday! Kudos to my parents for keeping me happy, healthy and alive. I had my 2-month check up and all went well except for when the nurse stuck four needles in my tiny but meaty thighs in rapid succession. Mom did about as poorly as I did. At least we had Dad around to hold us together... As you can see,
I am learning how to emote. Mainly, just smiles with a few grunts, but occasionally I get worked up enough that a squeal comes out. It's pretty awesome. My Aunt Mel came to visit me all the way from Florida - also awesome - and we had a great time despite the fact I look
like I want to jump out of her arms. Just more emoting...My hobbies are still pretty much the same except that I have recently learned a mobile exists on my swing and not just in my crib. LOVE IT- it's hypnotizing. And when I'm not checking out shiny objects, things that move in a circle, or Georgia, I'm usually curled up like this... Life could be worse :).

Like trying to wake the dead...

I'm pretty sure he was starting to get annoyed with us at this point, but alas, couldn't muster the strength to do much about it.

West Virginia Weekend

This weekend was the best ever because I met my great-grandparents, Nanny and Gramps. Nanny knew just the way to relax me (and that is not drool -- it's a shadow).

And Gramps and I have the same haircut. Hooray!

Only slightly less exciting was visiting Poppy and Peedles again. I am beginning to like them even though they don't lactate.

Here I am enjoying some time on the back deck with Mom and Poppy. I was looking at this cloud that was so hilarious... had to be there, I guess.

I knew it was time to go when Georgia began her crazy golfcart trick routine. It was great as usual. And a short time thereafter, my first trip to the Mountain State came to an end.

A day in the life of the Diggy

8:00 a.m. Coffee with Ladybug & Cardinal. Ladybug still favorite companion.
10:00 a.m. Exhausted. Must nap. Go Gators.

2:00 p.m. Afternoon playdate. Was fun until realization that Georgia thinks I'm a tender morsel.

5:00 p.m. Daddy gets home from work. I can barely contain my excitement...
8:00 p.m. ...but then Daddy introduces me to my first football game. The evening started looking up.
